EP’s Trailer Park

Swedish band EP’s Trailer Park is fronted by songwriter Eric Palmqvist. Their third full-length album Scissors & Knives released earlier this year in Sweden on the Brus & Knaster label is now available in the UK through Folkwit Records.

With help from friends Christian Kjellvander, Kathryn Williams, Anna Maria Espinosa and Frida Öhrn the band take their blend of folk pop to new heights and demonstrate why Stockholm might just be the new Portland!

“Allegedly Swedish, EP’s Trailer Park really hail from a dream of Topanga Canyon. When songwriter Eric Palmqwist begins ‘Hockey Skates and Butterflies’ with ‘we were young’ he could just as easily be singing Neil Young – circa ‘After he Gold Rush’, to be precise. With the occasional direct quote (check out the lick in ‘Sound Of Love’) and the tip of a battered Stetson to Buffalo Springfield thrown in, this will appeal to anyone with a love of that laid-back but angsty post-Woodstock country, folk and rock. An unexpected gem of an album…and I still don’t believe they’re Swedish.” ****
– Oz Hardwick, R2/Rock’n’Reel

“…Scissors And Knives may just about have all the ingredients to satisfy ones folk pop indie desires…strong enough to acclaim reward and get noticed…a wordy, quirky, beautifully odd, sometimes melancholy, organically rootsy songwriter style album…”
– Miss James, FATEA

”EP´s Trailer Park is a Swedish quartet based around singer-songwriter Eric Palmqwist. The five-track Black Heart is their first release in five years and is a work of extraordinarily emotive, dark but gentle folk pop, featuring sublime CSN harmonies, dreamy steel and fresh sea air.”
– Sean Mc Ghee, Rock’n’Reel
